Release Brakes:

Press the Minus-Key (Numeric Keypad) until the Driver's Brake Valve is in the forward position (Running). The air pressure in the Brake Pipe must rise to and remain at 5 bar and that in the Brake Cylinders drop to 0.

If some air pressure remains in the Brake Cylinder, it is possible that the Independent Brake remains applied. To release, press twice the Plus-Taste (über der #-Taste).

Braking Force reduction: If the Braking Force is to be reduced, the press the Minus-Key (Numeric Keypad) repeatedly. With each press, the pressure in the Brake Pipe will be progressively raised an increment and the Braking Force correspondingly reduced.
